up." Why did Thomas Edison succeed? He succeeded because he did not give
up. When he invented the light bulb, he had three thousand tries that did
not work. He did not look at it as failures but as stepping stones toward success. Having a positive attitude is
the key. Thomas Edison claims that he never made a discovery. He just took over
where someone else gave up and he didn't give up.
