Mauro Libi: Corporate social responsibility





     When we talk about corporate social responsibility, we refer to the voluntary contribution of a company to achieve social, environmental and economic improvement. It aims to improve competition, its value situation and added value. We can say that CSR is a commitment to the environment that surrounds a company, in practice are the good things that can be done by society to compensate the damage that can cause a company to people or the environment where it operates.

     We must be clear that corporate social responsibility exceeds the barriers of laws and regulations, which must be fully complied. In this context, labor legislation and standards that are consistent with the environment are of importance and a starting point with environmental responsibility. When it is not fully or partially complied with the legislation, it is normal for companies to invoke CSR-type activities for which there are a large number of strategies, practices and business management that seek to achieve a balance between economy, social and environmental.

     We can consider that corporate social responsibility is a voluntary integration of companies to the social and environmental concerns that are related to their company, refers to a management delimited by the ethical relationship that a company has with the different audiences with whom has some relationship, so it have to preserve environmental and cultural resources for any future operation. It should also promote the reduction of inequalities and respect for diversity.

     Through the CSR companies try to return part of their profits to the social part in which their activity is, so the main beneficiaries of these attributes are their employees as well as promoting the social action part in the collective. It also promotes education and culture with the aim of respecting and strengthens the environment.

     Plus, for development of CSR is necessary to generate collective mechanisms to activate. Society commitment is to have a sustainable and supportive world so the future generations continue to multiply to live in harmony between business, people and the environment. Inside the objectives pursued with CSR is to be an effective way of positioning itself, in addition it must create difference with other brands, increase the notoriety, contribute to the cause in the fight of the care of the environment and a way of loyalty to the existing customers.

Mauro Libi: Eliminate these three habits for success



 


     Man is an animal of customs, says the popular wisdom. When we make a habit it is difficult to leave it aside, we stick to routines without realizing that many of the things we do daily only harm us and hold up our path to success. Among the good practices we have to make good networking, maintain good working contacts and learn to delegate.

     Among the negative habits that must be eradicated are these three:

1. Sometimes we tend to create concepts and we shape an idea about people and companies only because we pay attention to what it is said about them and not what they really are. When we look at the stories and not the facts, we focus on the emotionality, which can be highly counterproductive to a great extent. Good leaders support their opinions and actions and not in stories or presupposed ideas.

2. Often people are jealous that they believe, to preconceived ideas, t preconceptions about people, to processes and organizations. It is necessary to innovate to build a business and this involves questioning everything in what is believed in advance, the ideas preset. It is very important to learn not to break with what is established and if we don’t achieve this, it will be very difficult to take the ship (hat is your company) to the following port.

3. Believing that we know everything lead us to not take advices. The exacerbated ego can be fatal for entrepreneurs, who have to learn to have ears open to criticism and advice. Perfection does not exist and surely, neither you nor your business is perfect. Attend constructive criticism.

Casa Hogar al Fin celebrates its 9th anniversary





Help children at risk situation

The "Casa Hogar al Fin" foundation celebrates its 9th anniversary, with a series of activities designed to recreate the children and stand out the praiseworthy work they do by providing assistance to children at risk situations. Their program includes recreational, sports and musical activities, the board of directors of this non-profit organization, located in Caraballeda, Vargas state, offers children who live there, a different week to their everyday life reminding that they are the result of a private effort and the commitment assumed by the Industria Procesadora de Cereales, Inproceca, and its Avelina oatmeal brand.

     Mauro Libi Crestani, president of Inproceca, shared with the 27 children who currently live in this space, whose ages range from 1 to 16 years old. "Every year, it adds to the management of this Casa Hogar. Is a pride for us and the commitment ratification that we assume with every child. Here, we have seen the growth of young people whose life history could have been different from not having found a place where they could receive adequate care, as medical, educational and affective, which is part of our mission. Today, we can say that in this house are forming young people who will build a future for the country, " Libi Crestani said.

     As part of the celebration, former football player Angelo Felice made a donation of balls and uniforms to the small lovers of that sport discipline. They also had the presentation of the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Caraballeda, belonging to the National Orchestras System, in which some members of this Casa Hogar live as part of the complementary and recreational activities they have. "We designed Casa Hogar al Fin as a space that could be seen by these children as a true home, we became a family to them after have been in a situation of abandonment in their natural homes, until they can be in a substitute household in accordance with what is established by the law. Meanwhile, their stay in the house guarantees that the construction of their future is positive; that is our commitment, “Mauro Libi explained.

     Since its creation, the “Casa Hogar al Fin” foundation has served more than 146 male children who have been abandoned by their parents and, consequently, are at risk situation. Most of these cases have been placed in new homes following the current legislation, although there are cases of 12 young people who came of age inside the organization, and who continue to have a home space as their own home, while doing university studies and incorporate to the labor field.

     Every worker or team leader needs to know what their strengths are in order to boost them and optimize their productivity and their profitability. All people have gifts and talents that distinguish them from other people. Knowing what those skills are is a key that can open many doors that lead you to success. The formula is to identify and know your strengths.

     Let's see how you can discover which are yours in four steps:

1. Determine what excites you. It is very important to look for emotions signs in you when you do your homework. People get excited when they use their strengths. Observe or be observed by someone close to you.

2. The roles should be performed according to the strengths. Occupy positions because you have such a title is not always the right way to do things, if you want to discover what those gifts you have, it is best to explore.
